The Palestinian Foreign Ministry confirms the continuation of the plots of the Israeli occupation dedicated to the temporal division of the Al-Aqsa Mosque

Ramallah: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine confirmed on Sunday that the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque is under constant Israeli aggression via a combination of broad and strict occupation measures aimed at further isolating it from its other regions by preventing the Palestinian citizens from accessing the mosque through various methods and subsequently preventing worshipers from praying inside the mosque, in addition to imposing other restrictions and obstacles, including collective sanctions that increasingly reduce the number of worshipers accessing the mosque.

The ministry added in a statement on the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of the burning of Al-Aqsa Mosque that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to carry out their plots against Al-Aqsa with the aim of establishing its temporal division on the way of its spatial division. , if not to demolish it entirely and build the so-called temple to replace the Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that such measures coincide with a brutal campaign unleashed by the Israeli occupation authorities against the endowment of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, its religious symbols and institutions with the objective of removing and stealing their power and mandate and preventing them from carrying out their mission towards the Al Aqsa Mosque.

The ministry asserted that the unleashed aggressive campaign against Al-Aqsa is an integral part of the Judaization processes followed by the deepening of colonization and the modification of Al-Aqsa’s Christian-Muslim landmarks and civilized identity to create more new realities strongly imposed by the Israeli occupation, whether aerial or underground, consistent with the occupation’s colonial ambitions and Talmudic narratives, holding the Israeli occupation authorities accountable for its violations and unleashed crimes against Al-Aqsa, warning of the dangers it faces on a daily basis stressing that the resilience of the people of Jerusalem preserved its Christian-Muslim identity and Arabism and subsequently foiled the plots and aims of the occupation.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry stressed that the provision of international protection to Jerusalem and its holy sites, with the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the foreground, as the capital of the State of Palestine and the main gateway protection of the two-state solution, including the whole peace process.
