Al Mayadeen correspondent in occupied Palestine confirmed on Wednesday that Israeli occupying forces stormed the besieged Shuafat camp.

“Young Palestinians clashed with the occupation forces after they stormed the Shuafat camp and set up barriers to disrupt their movement”, noting that “the Israeli occupation is taking revenge on the popular base of the resistance in the camp after they were unable to reach the individual who carried out the Shuafat operation,” our correspondent reported.

She also pointed out that “the Palestinians are responding to the attacks of the occupation in Al-Khalil and Beit Lahm, where a general strike is underway in solidarity with the Shuafat camp”.

“The occupation forces withdrew to one of the checkpoints at the entrance to the city after the Palestinians clashed with them,” adding that “the occupation fired tear gas canisters widely at Palestinians and civilian homes,” our correspondent inside the besieged Shuafat camp said.

“The residents of Al-Quds repelled the occupation attacks with stones in the camp, despite the latter’s attacks with intensive tear gas canisters and rubber bullets”, noting that “the forces of occupation targeted journalists in the camp with tear gas canisters,” she added.

“The occupation forces are chasing the young men who threw stones at them,” adding that “the occupation is opening up unexpected avenues in the camp to surprise the residents of Al-Quds,” the correspondent noted, adding that ” the occupation forces, heavily armed, invade the camp to pursue the inhabitants of Al-Quds”, and explaining that their attacks come in retaliation for the painful blow they received.

The correspondent pointed out that there is Israeli recognition of the inability to stop Palestinian operations, confirming the escalation of Palestinian resistance operations against the occupation in the occupied West Bank and Al-Quds.

She also pointed out that “the occupation is trying to separate and isolate the residents of Al-Quds from the occupied city through demolition and aggression”, adding that “the occupation is trying to isolate more than 100,000 residents of Al-Quds in the Shuafat camp of the occupation city of Al-Quds.”

In this regard, the Palestinian factions said at a press conference in Gaza that “the imposition by the occupation of the siege of the Shuafat camp is one of the manifestations of the ongoing aggression against our people in Al -Quds”.

“You are not alone, and we call on our masses everywhere to crawl to break the siege of the Shuafat camp,” the factions confirmed, noting that “the occupation will not succeed in breaking the will of our people, and we call on international forces and human rights institutions to play their part in ending the crimes of the occupation against the Shuafat camp.

Shuafat Camp People’s Committee Chairman Mahmoud Al-Sheikh said Al Mayadeen, “Our situation in the camp is extremely difficult. We demand the removal of the wall and the military barriers”, adding: “We call on the inhabitants of Al-Quds to demonstrate in front of the military checkpoint of the camp at five o’clock in the afternoon. “

In turn, a resident of Shuafat camp said Al Mayadeen that the camp “suffers from unprecedented practices of the occupation”, pointing out that “people in the camp have risen up against the systematic policy of the occupation and the oppressive practices against us”.

“Every place in Palestine is one, from Al-Quds, through Ramallah and up to Shuafat,” he added, explaining that “residents of Palestinian villages near Shuafat will come in fives to the checkpoint near the camp to protest”.

Residents of the Shuafat refugee camp and the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Al-Quds, earlier today announced open civil disobedience against the Israeli occupation and its oppressive practices against them. .

Following the announcement, a mass rally began from the camp towards the Shuafat camp checkpoint, which led to violent clashes between Al-Quds youths and the occupation forces, who fought back by firing gas and stun grenades at them, as well as targeting them out loud. – sewage pipes under pressure to try to disperse them.

The Palestinian operation came after Israeli occupying forces killed six Palestinians in cold blood, including a 14-year-old boy in Ramallah and 2 youths in violent clashes in the Jenin refugee camp.
