Here are the NOC 2021 Eligible Occupation Codes for Federal Skilled Workers, Federal Skilled Trades

FST eligible occupations will also be carried over as NOC 2021 comes into effect on November 16.

Under this program, IRCC accepts a maximum of 3,000 applications per calendar year. Eligible professions are separated into two categories: those with individual sub-ceilings of 100 applications and those without a sub-ceiling.

Up to 3,000 requests accepted under the TSP

Here are the new NOC codes for occupations where applications are accepted up to a maximum of 100 or until the total cap of 3,000 applications is reached:

  1. 72011 Contractors and supervisors, electrical and telecommunications trades
  2. 72013 Contractors and supervisors, carpentry trades
  3. 72014 Contractors and supervisors, other construction trades, installers, repairers and services
  4. 72310 Carpenters
  5. 72020 Contractors and supervisors in mechanical trades
  6. 72021 Heavy equipment operator crew contractors and supervisors
  7. 82010 Logging supervisors
  8. 82020 Supervisors, mines and quarries
  9. 82021 Contractors and supervisors, oil and gas drilling services
  10. 83110 Forestry machine operators
  11. 82030 Agricultural service contractors and farm supervisors
  12. 92010 Supervisors, mineral and metal processing
  13. 92011 Supervisors in oil, gas and chemical processing and utilities
  14. 92013 Supervisors, plastic and rubber products manufacturing
  15. 93100 Central process and control operators, mineral and metal processing
  16. 92100 Electrical engineers and power system operators
  17. 92101 Operators of water and waste treatment facilities

Here are the new NOC codes for occupations where applications are accepted until the total cap of 3,000 is reached, with no applicable sub-cap:

  12. 72300 Plumbers
  13. 72301 Steamfitters, pipefitters and sprinkler system installers
  14. 72302 Gas fitters
  15. 72400 Millwrights and industrial mechanics
  16. 72401 Heavy-duty equipment mechanics
  17. 72402 Refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics
  18. 72403 Railroad workers/women
  19. 72404 Aircraft mechanics and aircraft inspectors

In addition to all of these occupations eligible under the FST and FSW, Canada’s Department of Immigration is also making 16 other occupations eligible for economic immigration starting November 16, when NOC 2021 comes into effect – but exactly under which program each of these professions will fall has yet to be announced.

  11. 73202 Pest controllers and fumigators
  12. 73209 Other repairers and repairers
  13. 73300 Transport truck drivers
  14. 73301 Bus drivers, subway operators and other public transport operators
  15. 73400 Heavy equipment operators
  16. 93200 Aircraft assemblers and aircraft assembly inspectors
