Qatar strongly condemns the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli occupying forces and the attack on worshipers

Doha: The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attack on worshipers, and specifically denounced the taking of assault by the occupying forces on the Al-Qibli Mosque and the arrest of worshipers inside it, which is seen as a further addition to the repeated violations of the sanctity of the mosque, and considered this as a provocation to the feelings of millions of Muslims around the world and in the blessed month of Ramadan and a flagrant violation of human rights and international conventions.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that these repeated and systematic attacks by the occupation against the defenseless Palestinian people and the sanctity of Muslims are the result of the occupation’s repeated impunity, of the international community’s betrayal of the cause of Palestine, and its failure to implement the provisions of international law and preserve the rights of the Palestinian people, underscoring the need for international action to end Israel’s repeated attacks against the brotherly Palestinian people and the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The ministry reiterated the firm stance of the State of Qatar towards the righteousness of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, including the full right to practice their religious rites without restrictions and the establishment of their independent state in the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
