(Dan’s Papers)
  2. North Fork Vineyard Workers make history like Ffirst union of agricultural workers in New York State. the Union of Pindar is a historic first for New York State after a 2019 appeal court ruling found that the State Employment Relations Act of 1937 violated the right of workers to organize and bargain collectively, set out in the New York State Constitution. The passing of Fair Labor Practices for Farmworkers Act in 2019 gave agricultural workers the same employment rights as workers in other industries under the law. (RiverheadLOCAL)
